CFAF Singers
Thursday 3:30-4:30
This chorus is for high school students who would like to participate in a large choral ensemble. The students will learn warm-up techniques, proper vocal production, concert and rehearsal procedures, sight-reading, and choral blending. Students will work on a varied repertoire of music from all historical eras as well as music from varied cultures..
The CFAF Singers had the privilege of performing at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and at the Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Students are encouraged to audition for and participate in festivals and state competitions. Students have participated in the Georgia All State auditions and Choruses, The Northwest Georgia Choral Festival, 9th District Honor Chorus, and Spivey Hall Choral Workshops.
Ladies are encouraged to purchase or borrow a concert gown (concert black is also allowed for regular performances – but the gown is required for students participating in the 2010 Spring Trip performance).
Men must purchase a white tuxedo shirt and black bow tie (black pants, socks and shoes are also required). We encourage the men to purchase a black tuxedo jacket as well.
