About Us

Mrs. Hedy Farley
Hedy Farley has a Masters in Music Education from the University of Georgia. She has been Georgia State Certified in Music Education since 1999. This past year Hedy was the Music Director for Horizon Christian Academy. Prior to coming to Horizon, she served for seven years as Music Director for Chalcedon Christian School/Covenant Christian School. Previously, Hedy spent twelve years as the music director and church pianist for Covenant Presbyterian Church in Buford where she began a home school band and chorus. She has been teaching private and small group music lessons for nearly 30 years. Hedy maintains membership in MENC, GMEA as well as the University of Georgia’s chapter of Pi Kappa Lambda and Kappa Delta Pi.

Mr. J Ezekiel Farley
Zeke Farley attends North Georgia College and State University double majoring in voice and piano. He participates in the NGCSU Singers, Madrigal Singers, Golden Eagle Band, Chamber Orchestra, and Percussion Ensemble. He is a current recipient of the Pendergrass music scholarship. Zeke is also a member of the Atlanta Pipe Band which competes nationwide. He has taught private students for several years and is presently the primary teacher of the Junior Drum Line, CFAF Pipeband, Swingkids, Beginning Strings, and the Middle School Chorus, as well as assisting in CFAF Swing chorus, Marching band and Jazz Band. Zeke has a strong musical background and has substituted as the band, choir and praise band teacher at both Covenant Christian Academy and Horizon Christian Academy. His love for music really shows in his teaching style as well as his performances. We look forward to having Zeke with CFAF for at least one more year – offering even more classes next fall as well as over the summer.
